I whined in pain as a piece of broken plate I was picking cut my wrist. I sucked out the blood from the wound with my mouth, and spat it out on the floor.

I groaned in pain as my back bone snapped. I looked around for a while, and sat down on the bench alongside the silent and lonely hallway.

One of the maids intentionally poured broken bottles on the floor, and asked me to pick it with my bare hand. And I mustn't stand until I'm done picking, and it seems I wouldn't be able to pick everything today.

My back arched in pain as I sat on the bench.

"Hey,"I snapped out of my thoughts, and looked up as I heard a cold and loud voice.

Thinking it was the maid, I jerked up from the bench fearfully with my heart beating heavily.
