CHAPTER 26

When I opened my eyes again, I felt much calmer. My brain had already processed everything before I passed out so nothing came as a shock to me.

"Hey. You're awake" I was startled by the voice since I thought I was alone but when her face came into view, I relaxed.

"Let me help you" she assisted me into a sitting position. I looked around the room for a moment. Where was this place? She must have sensed my question.

"It is an extension of the pack house. It's used to house ill people" I nodded.

"Do you remember my name?"

"V-Viviana" my voice was hoarse. She smiled at my response.

"I'll get you some water" I watched as she stood up and moved around the room until she returned with a glass of water.

"Thank you," I said after drinking the content.

"Are you a wolf?" I asked curiously. She nodded with a smile.

"We are all wolves"
