ALPHA TEIGEN'S POV

"I've informed Bladgen and he's out of the pack" I nodded.

"That's good"

"Are you okay?" Landon asked

"Yes," I answered simply even though I was anything but okay. I was upset....confused and above all, I felt guilty. I've said it over a hundred times, I didn't care about the human girl.

"Arcelia," my wolf said. I avoided calling her name. It made her seem less of a person to me. Seeing her in that condition yesterday flipped a switch in me. I hated seeing her like that. The fear that gripped me tightly as she had that seizure.

"Alpha...." I looked at Landon. He was worried.

"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked and I nodded.

"Just busy"

"Are you going to the get-together with other alphas?" I shook my head. I didn't have the time for that or the energy to socialize.

"You never miss it"

"There's a time for everything Landon. Now is not the time for that"

"So what will you do about Maddox?"
