I honestly didn’t mean to confuse Rose or give her conflicting feelings. I really and truly want them to move in with me. Granted, I need to reveal the existence of werewolves to her… not only that they exist but that I am one. Zeus and I need her. We need our mate. We need our souls to be complete. Now that we’ve both been near her, gotten to know her, loved her; if we lose her, we will die. We both know it. And I’m beginning to understand her feelings on the other shoe dropping. I can feel an ominous presence in the air around us. We need to mark her before something bad happens.

I head into the office, not looking forward to an entire day without her. I decide to head straight for my floor to check on the construction progress. As I step out of the elevator, I am amazed at what I see. My overtime night crew has already set up the cubicle dividers, desks, computers, printers, new employee lounge furniture, conference rooms and Mike’s desk. I really hope my office is ready too,
