Chapter Eighty-Four: Normally

The pounding of his head came as an unwelcome surprise as soon as his eyes creaked open to take in the brightness of the room; even worse, a maid stood before him with the hotel's manager, and his erection still stood rock hard.

Well, at least he was covered with a blanket. He should celebrate that, at the very least, but the pounding in his head seemed to bleed to his chest because a tightness he couldn’t explain gripped him.

"Alpha."

The manager called with a concerned look on his face.

“I have called for a locksmith-”

"Check if the keys are in the drawer."

He interrupted, trying his best to ignore the sensations in his body.

"There is no key in the drawer, Alpha. We have checked."

"Check again!"

He yelled, and the startled maid moved to the drawer that was lying on its side thanks to yesterday's tussle.
