Chapter Thirty-One: Good Wife

Gina lay on my king sized bed, her petite frame barely filling half of the space. Her dishelved hair covered her face, her lips parted, and eyelids fluttering. I had carefully helped her out of her dress, leaving only her thong. Her chest rose as she breathed lightly, looking like an angel as she slept.

I had tried covering her naked body with the duvet, but she kept shifting in her sleep, unintentionally exposing her body. She looked so fragile that I almost felt bad for her. Guilt lingered within me as I remembered biting her to hard, drawing blood in the process. I couldnt forget the betrayed look in her eyes; realizing that she would never trust me.

I didn’t need her to anyways.

The necklace Diana had given me rested in my hand. I had successfully infused her blood in it, all that was left was to place the necklace around her neck.
