CHAPTER 43: BE MY LUNA.

The streaks of bright light coming into the room through the small separation between the drapes shine in Lana's face. It made her squint in discomfort. If only someone could get rid of such misery for her, she would be grateful. No one did that.

She ran her hand over the soft sheets, intentionally extending it to the other end of the bed with hopes to find a hard muscle there. To her disappointment, she met emptiness. Only the wrinkled nature of that side gave away that a hefty person once lay there. Where did he go? Did he travel back without her? It was too early to start thinking.

She grumbled and stood, still feeling like a drunk bride-to-be a morning after her bachelorette party. She fumbled with her steps, moving toward the light. Each step was a reminder of the sin of last night. She hissed and smiled at the shameful but fulfilling act. She has never felt so happy and free until this morning. Lana was sure the entire environment heard them from the screams.
