Tilting his head, he ignored Tyler's words. Diverting his attention to the two Elders groaning in pain as his claws dug deeper into their necks. “What happened? Can't run your mouths anymore because a cat got your tongue?”

“Let…us…go,” Elder Anil harshly whispered, more blood trickling down her body as the sharp claws of Herrick passed the veil into her neck.

Before Tyler could dash for him, he clawed out their throats, tossing their bodies to the ground. Their skins with a little piece of their veins in his hand, Herrick brought his hand covered with blood to his mouth and licked the back, equally tossing what he had to the floor. “Oops. My hands got itching from holding them, so I had to let go. They should never have gotten too close to me.” He stepped backward, giving a little room to the two Elders who wriggled on the floor, holding on to their necks for their dear life.
