Chapter 33 Run, Kamara

It was a precarious position for Bruno. There was a lot of sweat on him. His face was dripping with little drops of sweat.

He stuttered, "I told my men not to pursue Louis because I decided it was too late to perform a search."

Caiden spoke loudly in the station, growling, "I came to the station to issue that command, but you weren't here. The pack's choices have to go through me first. Since Louis was a prisoner, I felt you were smart enough to know that he should receive extra attention and security. It was best for you to pursue him."

Bruno lowered his head. He was unable to look directly at Caiden.
