My heart medicine jumped up to my throat but then I swallowed it back down maintaining a blank expression when I turned the back to face him, my eyeballs shooting at him like icicles.

"I don't think I've had the flattering, pleasure Alpha Grayson."

There was no way he could have remembered me, that would spell doom for my family and I was sure that he had called me Bella that morning after taking the drug I had put in his drink so this must be some kind of mistake.

He didn't say anything until his strides brought him to our table and he settled down comfortably like a bird perched on its nest.

"Oh is that so? And yet you were able to recognize me with ease,"
