Calista's POV

I took a huge generous gulp of air as my fingers twist on my lap and I reached for my husband's fingers to get some reassurance but before I could even get close my husband stood at his full height and then he was shooting daggers at his parents with his eyes.

"what do you mean by A real woman I'm already married to one?"

I felt my eyes moisten as I thought about his unconditional love for me even faced against his own parents but I will soon about to find out that it was not enough to fight everything.

"What difference is there between her and a piece of lifeless little rock on the straight? Nothing, she can't give you a child! Can't you see that she is about to end the lineage of two families at the same time?!"
