Azalea Malorie's class turned out to be pretty simple for me. She had several books on plants and ingredients, with where to find them, their properties, etc that we would go over and she would test me on them. Most she would show me in person and those that were safe I was allowed to smell and touch and taste so I would be able to recognize them. I'd always had a little bit of a green thumb so this had turned out well. While I did have a decent amount of studying outside of class with her, it wasn't bad. Azalea It didn't take us long to reach there and get set up. I made a few of the potions and things for incantations that I had learned so far. Then we went through the store of ingredients and he tested my knowledge. He seemed fairly impressed with my knowledge so far. "Now what Malorie did not tell you is that the most powerful witches put a drop or two of their own blood in the potions that they keep for personal use. This provides a boost for whatever purpose your potion os for. In your case you may be able to add your power to it as it will contain your blood. I am concerned about doing this with you as your blood is unpredictable, so we will start will with some of the simplier ones and see what your blood does," He stated drily. Azalea I saw them approaching the clearing at almost the same time as we did. I asked if we could try the incenerator first as I had an idea. I spent a lot of time thinking about it last night. They told me to go ahead. I made a small whirlwind and placed it on the ground next to where I piled some sticks. I had added 5 drops of my blood this time, hoping for a stronger connection. I shook the vial and focused on my whirlwind. I threw the vial and as it exploded on the sticks, I had the whirlwind pull the fire into itself, letting the two powers mix before pushing more of my power into it. Azalea The girls and I had lunch together before meeting at the SUV. Rich had gone on to get the boys and would meet us at the airport. We talked the whole way out there about all the fun things we had planned. Soon enough we were on the plane and off to Hawaii.
