Chapter 40: Back To His Kingdom

Kaida watched as Zavier's expression turned solemn. "I have a duty to my kingdom and my family," he said, his voice low. "I need to go back and attend to matters there."

Kaida nodded, understanding the weight of responsibility that came with being a leader. "I understand," she said. "But what about the pack? Who will lead us in your absence?"

Zavier looked thoughtful for a moment before answering. "I trust you, Kaida," he said. "You have already proven yourself to be a capable leader. I have no doubt that you will lead the pack well in my absence."
