I pushed against Isaiah’s chest to escape his embrace, but he held tight.  

“What the hell is your problem?” I whispered to him while keeping my eyes on James, who was surprisingly calm. “Let me go, Alpha Isaiah.” 

Isaiah ignored me and pulled me closer to his body as he glared at James. This display only worsened my anxiety since we were out in the open. What if she sees this? What if she takes it out on Arias? So I tried a different approach. As I cleared my throat, I thought I saw his eyes change to green.

“Isaiah,” I said, slowly trying to get his attention, “you have to stay hidden before anyone sees you. Before she sees you. We have to stick to the plan.”
