Asher's POV

Devlin was too stubborn, even after I had told her the reason why I wanted her gone, she only shrugged and continued browsing through the room, probably searching for something.

"Devlin, what are you really doing here?" I asked her.

I was too frustrated and unfortunately, my voice was showing just how frustrated I was. And Devlin knew me to an extent and I guessed she had heard the frustration in my tone but she preferred to say nothing.
