I walk into Klaus' room after taking care of the nasty gash on my head. Dom, Luke, and Genevieve are already here, alongside Klaus.

It can't be. "Is this everyone left?" I ask.

Klaus nods at me.

Well, fuck. We're screwed. My team consists of Dom, who's the most despicable person I've ever known, and Genevieve, who has never seemed to like me for reasons best known to her, and Luke, who I just recently found out from Kayden was the one who tried to murder me in my sleep, and lastly, Klaus, who has tried several times in the past to make sure I was dead.
