Staring at him with those anticipation filled eyes and waiting for his approval, Esther reminded Asher of a puppy looking at its owner in fondness. It was funny how the same animal scared the living daylights out of her.

This made Esther beam. She might not know the boy for a long time but understood the hidden annotations behind his words well.
“Then, should I bake more for you? What do you like? I can bake anything. Hold on a minute. Let me take out a notebook,” Esther voiced out about to reach for her bag when Asher felt a little incredulous about the situation.
