The day went by so fast that Celeste was surprised when darkness came down to stifle the light. Zillon had to go on patrol again and though she didn't want him to go, he had to. He was alpha, it was his job to protect the pack.
She only hoped he didn't get hurt while doing it. That man; Xavier was still out there, if he was the leader of these rogues, then if not a threat to her, he was a threat to the pack.
