Ch 45

Roman wondered if perhaps he was really the selfish one. He spent so long thinking about it that eventually, he couldn't go back. He needed to see Elora. He needed to explain to her that the unfortunate incidents that followed them being together were beyond his control. He needed to win back her love and trust but he didn't know how he would do that - not when she barely even let him get his point across.

That night he felt so defeated that he went to bed but after barely three hours of sleep, he woke up and drove straight to Blue Moon pack. Upon his arrival, the first person he saw was his stepmother. She looked extremely upset to see him but he couldn't care less.

All he wanted now was a warm bath and good sleep. He would see his father later. That night he dreamt of something he always wished he and Elora could have but even in that dream, it did not work out.
