“What did you mean?” Xena yelled as she knitted her eyes in fear. Her heart raced against her chest.

“I heard the king summon the translator man into the hall again, he is in the hall right now. From the information I heard, the king is questioning him concerning the document you submitted” Jeanne explained.

“Did the king know that he translated the document on my behalf?” Xena asked.

“I don't think so… but I'm not sure” Jeanne replied hurriedly, feeling afraid of what the outcome will be, she wanted to avoid causing her friend problem because of her mistake.

Just then, Xena sprang to her bare feet, and she swerved after her threatening gaze left Jeanne's body, giving her a warning stare as she walked toward the door.

Jeanne took a deep breath, knowing that Xena was angry at her right now.

“Where are you going?” She asked in a silent tone, trying not to make her angry.
