I woke up feeling weak, wondering when I had fallen asleep. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as it usually is, making me frown. I looked around, realization dawning upon me when I saw the different room I was in. My heart thumped loudly.

“... Lora the Alpha instructed me to take her to the pack. This was not what we planned.” My ears perked up, hearing voices outside.
