A week had passed by since my kidnapping incident.
I had a small talk with my father. He wanted me to take over as Alpha of the white mist pack and combine it with the black mist pack. But I refused, I told him he could have another child with his new love interest.
To my surprise, he refused and said he only loves my mother. I felt kind of sad for him though. Me moving away will make him lonely.
He also told me to look out for the next full moon. He wasn’t saying more but he said he had a hunch something would happen to James.
Those words confused me and gave me anxiety knots in my stomach.
What would happen to James on the next full moon? Was it life threatening? I had all these unanswered questions and my father didn’t seem to want to let on, on what he knew.
Things with James were perfect. We would have our usual cute banter here and there. But I loved how he always tried to compromise knowing how headstrong I could be.
