As we walked, Daniel continued to ask me questions about our way of life. "So what happens if someone doesn't follow the rules of the pack?" he asked.

"It depends on the severity of the offense," I replied. "Minor transgressions can be dealt with through a warning or a small punishment. But if someone does something truly unforgivable, they may be banished from the pack."

Daniel nodded, taking in the information. "It seems like a lot of responsibility to keep everyone in line."
