I sit on the edge of my bed, my mind reeling with thoughts of Maueve's betrayal. How could she do this to me? To us? We were so close, the daughter of a respected member of the pack, and now she has turned her back on me and joined forces with Jason.

I can feel the anger building inside me as I think about what she has done. But I can't let it consume me, I need to think clearly and come up with a plan to handle this situation. I can't let Maueve get away with what she has done, but I also can't risk exposing my secrets to the rest of the park.

I take a deep breath and try to calm myself down. I need to think logically and strategically. I know that Maueve has always been ambitious, and I can see how Jason's influence has lured her in. But what does he have to offer her that I can't?
