ODD

Brightness. Brightness penetrated into my eyes and forced me to open them when I really didn't want to wake up, I felt like sleeping more. I had to blink several times and rubbed my eyes with the back of my palm before I could see anything clearly. I didn't want to wake up and I wouldn't have woken up if not of the light that poked my eyes like I was being stung by an insect.

I looked around where I was not moving my body. This was a new place, wasn't it? I looked around again, scanning everything that was in the room and what could have possibly brought me here. I didn't recognise where I was. Not a whit! I found myself in a little room, surrounded by dark charred walls. It was as if the room was once burnt. Like, so there was a room like this in the pack-house? How come I didn't know about it and how did I get here? I kept on scanning, to my left, there was a small table and a chair, and just right above a small window from which the sunlight peeked through. In front of me,
