I tip-toed gently, opening the door slightly and snuck out of the room, leaning myself to the door so as to not make any sound that would interrupt Leoric sleep. And just as I stepped out of the room, my eyes widened in shock with whom I saw. I swallowed and quickly ran back into the room before Alpha Ailwyn could see me coming out of Leoric's room. I peeked out of the room from the door after staying in for a while, he was gone and I quickly ran out of the room heading towards my own room to meet the doom. I held my wet gown up, water dripping out of it as I entered the room where Lustrow sat fuming but I didn't care... All I cared about now was myself and Leoric. Immediately he noticed my presence, he jumped out of the bed and turned to me, wanting to say something but immediately he saw me I guessed his words disappeared. I pretended to be shivering out of cold, I held myself together with my arm and I kept my gaze low. He must have been convinced now that I slept in the
"Lustrow? Why are you not putting on the dress I chose specially for you and your wife? Don't tell me you don't like it" Luna Dessa said. Lustrow wasn't wearing the shirt and pants and this was because of me. I was happy he didn't because I also didn't want him to wear the same clothe with me, we share no relationship... Not even friendship, Lustrow hated me and I realized it was becoming intense day by day with me not having a clue of its reason. Luna Dessa didn't like it the way he wore another dress, making us look totally different... The colour of the dress was not even similar to the one i wore at all. He was wearing a green shirt and a pair black jean trousers, making him look odd... Everyone except for him was wearing white and red, including Lustrow.. But he stood out in an awkward way. "Not at all mum, I definitely love that dress, it looks very beautiful but I don't want to wear it only because of her..." He pointed at me with an angry stare but did I look l
I yawned loudly as I slowly adjusted my eyes to the rats of the sun, it was dawn.. I thought as I sat up to check the windows. I leapt to my feet and looked at the bed, Lustrow was still sleeping on the bed, I should get prepared before he woke up. I went straight into the bathroom, had a proper shower and dressed up, waiting for me to hear a sound that will send me out of that room. I sat back on the floor spread I slept on, and leant my head against the bed when I heard the creaking sound of the bed. Lustrow stirred in his sleep and I knew he would be waking up anytime soon and before I could blink a wear off, Lustrow was already on his buttocks, sitting at the edge of the bed and slowly before he would notice me, I went down still and pretended as if I wasn't awake. "Get me the water from the jug." I heard him say. That meant he knew I was awake, to hell. I stood up to get the water when I heard him again. "Don't bother... I don't want you get the water poisoned...
"I feel Lustrow doesn't have appetite today... Same here... We had a lot last night in our room and it hasn't digested, that's the reason we don't have appetite..." I lied and looked askance at Lustrow who rose up instantly, thumping his fist on the dinning table and spilled the spicy ketchup to my face. I screamed as the spice entered my eyes, stinging me hard... Lisa was the one who ran to me and get it washed up from my face. It was less but I could still feel that sensation. "Lies! Lies! Deception! Deception!" He yelled as he slapped me across the face with the back of his hand. "Why must you always must you tell lies? Can't you say the truth for once?" Today again was another scene. Everyone rose on their feet, eyes dilated in shock. "What's going on here?" Alpha Ailwyn rushed to our table, pulling Lustrow's shirt. "Ask her dad... I want you to ask your ideal daughter in law, why must she deceive us? She is too good at lying and I hate it... Her foundation i
The whole pack house had become hot and heavy as the commotion on ground refused to cease and go. Harolden was not letting it go at all despite Leoric's and Lisa's attack against she and Lustrow. She kept alighting it as Leoric and Lisa extinguished it. Kevyra was completely worn out, she had finally erupted in to tears as she wasn't able to control it anymore. Even Alpha Ailwyn and Luna Dessa were just standing there listening to Harolden as she spoke, completely confused with what she had been telling them. "Harolden please answer this, are you saying that Kevyra is Silene the only daughter of Alpha Phenrix and Luna Rydna of the Nightrider pack?" Luna Dessa's eyes were still widened as she waited for Harolden's response eagerly, she was looking somehow scared. "Of course... You want me to give you more details about it? I can't tell you lies, you should know it. I wouldn't have come here to support Lustrow if it isn't as important as I take it." Luna Dessa took another l
Alpha Ailwyn paced forth and back in the room, it was obvious that he was very worried about something while Luna Dessa also sat on the bed, looking scared like she could get decapitated at any moment from then. Literally, both of them were perplexed. None of them said anything to each other for a while, just talking to themselves as they thought of the situation of ground, mixing their emotions... Confusion and fear. Alpha Ailwyn pulled the tie around his neck and flung it aside, wiping the sweat that was trickling from his head to his face. He was profusely perspiring as though he was a chilled wine that was just being brought out of the refrigerator. "I can't just believe this..." He finally broke the silence. "This is too fictional to the ears, I am refusing to believe." He lamented, still moving up and down the room as if he was going to he was looking for a tiny needle along the line. "This is really bursting my brain... You can't know how I feel right now... Like
I made sure everyone had slept in the night, no sound could be heard when I gently snuck out of my new room. I had been given a new, I and Lustrow were not sleeping in the same room anymore and that was a peace at one side. There wouldn't be anyone who would frown at me early in the morning, kick me out of the bed and tell me to do chores. I would wake up in the morning without fear, no one would invade my privacy and confidentiality. I felt this revelation was more a blessing than a curse. At first I thought my fate was jinx and I was cursed, until this was happening to me and I was like - dude, come off it, this is your time... You're not gonna lose. I stepped slowly out, making a quick step and headed towards Lustrow's room. This was it, I had not seen Lustrow after the day everything happened, it was like he was hiding himself from me... I knew he probably didn't want to see me and that was not a problem for me... All I needed to do was to apologize for keeping the secret
"Good day Luna Dessa." I greeted her as she walked towards the kitchen but she didn't respond. She didn't even react like some one just talked behind her. She didn't bother to check who it was and I knew why was that. She was ignoring me, I knew she felt betrayed but at least now that they want me out of the house, they can see me as their guest. "Good day Luna Dessa." I greeted her again, acting like I knew she didn't hear me at first. I could see that her steps were quickened and I began to walk faster as well. - Luna Dessa! - Luna Dessa! I called her severally but she didn't answer not looking to see who it was even though I knew she knew it was me, now it was so obvious that she heard me because many other people greeted her on the way and she was responding to them with broad smiles and even hugs. When I saw that no one was close now, I ran up to her and and gripped her on the shoulder. She turned to me and landed three slaps on my face that lead me to the floor.
