CHAPTER 86 Melting Iron

  Bernael's POV

  Sitting back in an old wicker chair that adorned the corner of my daughter's bedroom, my eyes trailed over her sleeping body; the floral sheets that cocooned her rose and fell as she snored softly, enjoying the slumberland I had left her in, sighing as my eyes drifted down to my son, his lifeless body irritating me. The kid had grown some solid iron balls in the last few days!

  But even iron melted under enough heat!

  "I personally prefer him that way." A voice cut through the air, making me snort and nod in agreement; right now, so did I. I didn't need to look up; I knew whom the voice belonged to.

  "Dante!" I acknowledged sitting back in the chair; it creaked in protest under my weight; the sound, mixed with Abigail's light breathing, filled the uneasy silence in the room.
