“She’s safe. Lenny has her,” I told my brother.

He grunted, still in a furious funk from whatever happened between them before the chills crept over me, nausea settling in my stomach telling me that we had intruders in the pack.

Being in the warrior center, I bolted for the border right away, Rome tearing through me the second we were outside. Estel even snapped into action to help. Her little red wolf was small but fast. She couldn’t mind link any of us, so she had to fall back to follow as I gave commands to the others. I’m sure she would have been the first to the border if not for that.
