Who Died?

Humans scampered out of the space and only the students of EverMore stayed.

Taylor, who was the second closest to the body, walked towards it. She bent over it and felt the pulse of the woman.

"She's dead." She said without looking up. And added a few seconds later, "It's a witch."

According to the rules of the school, vampires, witches and werewolves sat in different sections. So as soon as she said those words, the witches stared towards the vampires.

"Okay, just because a witch was killed doesn't mean it was done by a vampire." Ashley scoffed.

Taylor looked up at her with raised brow, "For as long as I can remember, the vampires have really not been at peace with the witches. They use and discard us like animals."

Ashley said nothing else as she moved towards them.
