Emmett’s POV

When I wake up, it must be very late. It’s dark outside. My mother is sleeping in a recliner, holding my left hand. Luca is holding my right. I don’t move, so I don’t disturb them.

“Luna,” a nurse comes from the corner. She brings me a cup and reaches over Luca for me to drink. “How are you feeling?”
