66-Golden Moon

Saturn’s POV

As I step through the portal, I smell him. He has always smelled of chocolate and bananas. I just can’t help but bury my face in his chest and inhale deeply. He buries himself into my neck and damn, I’m weak in the knees.

“I missed you so much,” He whispers.

“I didn’t realize, until now, how much I missed you.” I look up at him and he cups my face. “Kiss me, please.”

Dennis smiles all the way to his eyes and gently places his lips to mine. I need more, so I grip his hair and deepen the kiss. He moves his hands to my back and presses us closer together. I can’t believe I ever wanted to leave his arms. But then, that gut feeling that this isn’t enough. I miss Phoenix. How can I miss her when I am in the arms of my mate?

I push thoughts of Phoenix from my head and focus on my mate, whose lips are on mine. I open my mouth slightly and Dennis deepens the kiss, further.

“Okay, okay.” We hear Rona calling to us. “That is enough.”

“I am driving the sedan, get in,” Dennis tells me
