CHAPTER 13

After a week, I was able to fall into a routine and get enough time to have a quick meal before returning to my work. Palesa never found out of course that would be asking for trouble.

But she had eyes everywhere. Or maybe she just didn't care about what I did. I believe she must know because I was the center of attraction at meals -the girls looked for every opportunity to bully or pick on me- so she must have heard something. Anyways, I had the attention of all the mean wolves and that meant all of them, and not in a good way.

It first started with some forceful pushes. They were subtle with it, sometimes mumbling about a mistake or not seeing me but then they stopped bothering to hide it. They were bullying me.......collectively and I couldn't do anything about it. I wasn't sure about the hierarchy amongst them so I couldn't report to anyone and even if I did nothing would be done. Humans were at the bottom.
