ALPHA TERGEN'S POV

I dropped the last paper I was working on with the rest of the stack and got up from my chair, looking out of the window. My wolf tried to break through the barrier I had set up but I was having none of it.

He wanted me to go after the human. Because of her stupid mark on us, he somehow wanted to keep us close completely forgetting that she was the reason our sister was dead and not here with us. A stupid disadvantage of the mark.

I slammed my hands against the window bars in annoyance. We should have left her in the dungeon, torturing her until she firmly confessed to her deeds and revealed where they had dumped the body. But my wolf didn't want that. It was why I was forced to bring her out.
