"Is there anything else? If not, please go home," Sebastian said impassively. He turned to go in.

Whitney was startled. She called out quickly, "Sebastian, don't you want to know why I came to see you?"

Sebastian paused and said coldly, "No, I don't. With the way things are between us, we don't have much to say to each other. After tonight, you'll be married. We'd better not meet again."

Whitney shuddered violently at his ruthless words. Tears started in her eyes, and she cried out, "Sebastian, I came to tell you I misunderstood you. I was wrong."
