Warned Her

He was already bathing in the pouring rain, but Zerus did not stop looking. He is unbothered by the rain. All he wanted to do was see the woman. When he called her name, he was met with ear splitting lightening and thunder. Heaven was furious with him, and he could sense it.

Blessy, where are you? Oh, crap!

When the heavens roared again and drew lengthy lightning, he darkened. He was simply disturbed and proceeded until he stopped abruptly, shocked.

“Bullshit! Blessy!" He was faster than the clock as he stepped the steep cliff. He was unconcerned about the possibility of falling due to the force of the storm and the slick rocks. He even forgets that he is still injured.

He instantly hugged the unconscious woman while the flowers she had pick were near her.

"Blessy? Hey, Blessy!" He tapped the woman's pale cheek, but she didn't respond.

Blessy slipped and plunged off the cliff. That's what Zerus was aware of. When he felt her wrist's feeble pulse, he instantly caressed it and calmed down for a while.

He is quietly displeased with himself. He'd been to the waterfall earlier, but he preferred to leave the woman alone and let her wander on her own. He should have adjusted his feelings and just pushed them aside; otherwise, they would not be in this situation right now.

When he carried her, she was light as a feather. It seemed like though he was carrying a child in his arms. But, due to his condition, which included a just healed wound and torrential rain with no intention of stopping, he was forced to stop at some point in front of the cave. They could rest here for a bit till the rain stopped.

When it thundered again, he yelled angrily, "The heck with this!" The stone he was stepping on turned slippery, but he continued to walk despite the pain from his wound.

When he reached the cave's extension, he sighed. He put the woman beside the rock with caution.

“Blessy? Wake up, Blessy." He tapped the woman's pale cheek once more.

They are quite soaked, which can make them sick. It slipped around 30 minutes ago, according to Zerus. It clutched for a while but eventually let go, allowing it to fall fully. He would not have realized that Blessy's life was on the verge of death if Sister Pearl hadn't communicated them sooner.

Zerus was well aware that there was no plan to stop the rain. He sat down gently close to the woman. He created some distance between them while maintaining his regard for her. He had been obliged to touch and carry her earlier, but if she was fully conscious, he would not have done so. As much as he can, he refuses to attach to the woman. He is put off by something about her.

"Hey!" When he noticed Blessy's hand twitch, he jumped out of his seat. He approached the woman fast and waited for her to say something.

"Mmmm…"

He kept his distance from the two of them once more. She might be afraid of his presence. "Are you all right? Are you hurt? Tell me..."

She shook her head, but she was swiftly overcome. "M-my head. It's hurt…" She snatched her head.

"Where?" he asked, approaching her and feeling the back of her head. "It's here, huh?"

She gave a short nod and diverted her attention from his. She also backed away from him, and he picked up on what she was implying. He drew his hand back and resumed his seat. The only thing that could be heard between them was the torrential downpour and the rustling of the sky.

"T-thank you so..."

"For?" He got sight of her.

She took a big breath and hugged herself briefly. "When you help me, Mr. Hearst."

He did not respond. He didn't need her to express her gratitude. He is upset, but he attempts to keep it under control on his own. He noticed the woman trembling, and there was nothing he could do to stop her. She was jolted when the weather got more erratic and a cold breeze blew.

He didn't say anything. He looked up and groaned somewhere else. When will the rain cease and they will be able to leave?

"Mr. Hearst."

"Yeah?"

"Please don't be offended if I ask you a personal question."

"What is it then?" he asked, his face expressionless.

"Why is someone looking for you? Have you ever done something wrong to them?"

As lightning blasted the sky again, he locked his gaze on her. "Why?" he inquired once more.

The surroundings began to darken as a result of the rain, which had no intention of stopping, but he continued to stare at the woman.

"I'm confident you're not a horrible person."

He bitterly laughed at what she stated. "Don't be fooled, Blessy. Before he became Satan, Lucifer was an angel. You have no idea what you're talking about."

“Why? Tell me then."

His lip rose and he shook his head slightly. He has no intention of expressing his entire being here. Satan is the only one who knows how dark his soul is.

"What is it that you wish to know? Does praying to your gods absolves me of all guilt? Make me pure as you?"

"Mr. Hearst."

"Don't ask me how heinous I am. The man you're talking about right now is a wolf in sheep's clothing," he said bluntly while looking the long lightning and loud thunder in the sky.

The woman screamed and covered her ears with her hands. It was shoved aside, and she made several mention of God. He leaned against the rock and rested his hand on his knee, emotionless. A sequence of thunderclaps and lightning strikes sounded like music to his ears.

"Mr. Hearst?"

"Yeah?"

"There are no plans to stop the rain. Sister Pearl and Mother Jean may have been worried right now. I need to return to church."

"I'll take you when the rain stops."

"No, I can go back alone," she said, shaking her head. She stood up and clutched her drenched clothes tightly. "You don't understand what I'm saying."

"What is inexplicable? What concerns me is your state of health. You didn't see how idiotic I was to go out in this pouring rain to find you, did you? Bless you, Blessy! If you insist, even if you are a nun, I will be forced to lock you in my arms." He got to his feet and threatened her with his stares.

She was gobsmacked by what he stated, but Zerus was dead serious.

"Don't impose your will on me. This place is familiar to me. It's only three miles to the church. The longer we stay here, the more difficult it will be to go. So, Mr. Hearst, let me go first. "

He was moving quickly at four o'clock. He was out of control the next thing he knew. He abruptly grabbed the nun's hand and drew her closer to him. He was able to close her body to him with the quickness of his movement. They were both astonished.

"I told you..." he said gently. "I warned you I'd fucking lock you in my arms if you kept insisting."

"Mr. Hearst!" Her lovely eyes widened as she realized what he had done. Her two hands are on his chest, creating space between them.

"Are you still leaving?" he asked, his voice threatening.

She doesn't say anything. She just stared at him, and he knew what was going through her mind at the time. Fear. Fear is what Fender sees. He could read her mind, and the glint in her eyes made his heart skip a beat.

"Who exactly are you? What are you?'

The rain was pouring outside, but his reading was crystal clear. As he glanced at the woman, his fist clenched slightly. They remained in their current situation.

"You're terrified of me, aren't you?" he murmured, which only increased to the woman's fear.

"Tell me why I shouldn't be terrified of you."

He let her go with a sour laugh. He took a step away from her. "Do you want to go home to church first? All fine, go."

She embraced herself and stared at him. "You are a murderer," she remarked after weighing his words.

Bull's eye.

Zerus' eyes widened, and he took a large step away from the woman. He took the rain bath. He was unable to respond to her straight pledge. He is powerless to respond. He was unable to respond.

"Am I correct, Mr. Hearst? You are a murderer—"

She stopped for a time, and it was his lips that prevented her from saying anything. The sky roared angrily in them, and their mouths parted.

He couldn't figure out what he was doing and just stared at her as if in a dream. He had no regrets about what he had done.

He took a step back from the woman and peered at her closely. "I am a killer. You are right."

His cheek was struck with a loud slap from her. He couldn feel the pain.

"You're disgusting!" She shouted angrily, and he couldn't keep Blessy from running away in the pouring rain.

As he followed her with his glance, he sketched a pained expression on his face. It hurts. His heart felt the pain, and this was how he felt when he was hurt. His fist clenched as he followed gaze the woman who had taken the other lane to avoid him. He exhaled a long breath. He spoke and did something he should not have said or done.

He tugged at his hair gradually and decided to follow the woman. He'd just make sure it got home safely, whatever the weather's fury. He was drenched in the rain and his side wound ached, but nothing hurt more than seeing dread and disdain in the eyes of a woman he shouldn't love.

ZERUS awoke early that day. It was still raining outside, and he remained expressionless as he stared at the pouring rain. Manong Ben's small hut was damaged, and the old man and he were temporarily relocated in the church. He did not allow the woman go home alone. He was able to deliver her safely.

"Fender, here is coffee to warm your tummy," Manong Ben said, handing him cup of hot coffee.

He silently reached for it. "How is sister Blessy?"

To look at him, Manong Ben scratched its head and shook its head. "You must not love him, Son."

He didn't say anything and sipped his hot coffee. "How is she?"

"She has a high temperature, but her condition will be well, son."

He rose up and looked out the window. Water and dew cover the ground. He chose to go out and had to think about it.

“Mr. Hearst!”

He couldn't turn around to see who had called. He recognized this as Blessy's friend's. He waited for her to approach him. He faces the garden and freely studies the flowers.

"Are you in need of anything?" He face her.

"Thank you very much. I know you were seeking for Sister the other day. I won't inquire how or where you found her."

He remained silent. He just kept staring at the nun waiting for her to say anything. "Do you have anything further to say?"

"And please keep away from Sister Blessy."

He raised the corner of his mouth and turned his back on the woman. He's merely waiting for the sun to rise before leaving this place. He has no plans to stay, and much less to go insane and ruin his plans for a woman.

BLESSY gently opened her eyes. Her room's white wall opened up to her, and next to her stood her friend Pearl. Her friend's expression was filled with concern, and she instantly attended to seat properly.

"Are you okay, Sister Blessy?"

She made a shaky motion with her head. She last remembers walking away from Fender.

"How did I get here, Sister? I recall—"

"Mr. Hearst brought you here."

She didn't say anything; how did the man bring her up? All she remembers is walking away from the man after she slapped her hard.

"He didn't say anything. She just brought you here to church. ”

She paused for a while to process what her friend nun had said. This is true. She remembered it now...

Tears welled up in her eyes as she proceeded down the trail, which she could hardly see due to the wind and rain. She felt guilty. Committed a sin!

In these moments, she is filled with hatred and disgust. The man has no right to kiss her. Not even one! She belongs to God, and what she did was a terrible sin.

Blessy admits she done wrong with her tone. In her speech. When she asked Fender what kind of person he is, but that was not enough for the man to kiss her. That is not acceptable!

"Blessy!"

The rain was pouring, yet she could hear the man's voice. She was able to turn back, and rage welled up in her heart. Her rage was entirely fresh to her. Fender was immediately behind her, a few feet away and following.

She hurried to take a step, despite the fact that her foot hurt from falling earlier. She could hardly walk, but she put up with it as long as she could get away from the man. It was a murderer, yet she was not terrified of it. She met a lot of individuals inside the prison every time they visit, but she wasn't astonished or terrified. What she despised was that Fender had stolen a kiss from her that he shouldn't have. It's a sin!

“Blessy! I will not apologize for what I did.”

On her heels, she rushed all the way back to the chapel. And in her haste, her foot brushed up on the tree's root, causing her to fall.

"Damn it!" The man appeared in front of her and promptly helped her.

She softly retracted his hand. She is destined to be a God-follower for the rest of her life. She will only have to wait a few years before she can become a full-fledged nun. The ring she was wearing would prove that what he had done to her was wrong. To kiss her? For God's sake! He stole the first kiss that shouldn't have happened.

“Mr. I can sue you for what you done to me, Hearst!" The rage can be mirrored in her eyes.

"Then do it if it would help you feel better."

She calmed down. She averted her look and chose not to discuss it. But she lost her balance as she trod on her foot. It hurts! Her vein in her leg felt twisted.

The man's powerful arms caught up with her. She unintentionally stared into his eyes... his eyes couldn't read what was contained in the extreme depth of emotion. She couldn't put her finger on what those emotions mean.

"Let me to carry you."

"No!"

"Please?"

With a shake of her head, she expressed her dissatisfaction with the situation. She'd prefer to avoid him in order to keep her mind at ease. 'They'll both become sick if they linger in the wet for too long. She stepped back, but it hurt. She couldn't take the pain any longer.

"Wait a second... Don't move."

When Fender knelt down and pinched her leg, she couldn't react any longer. The rain was pouring and the wind was howling, so why did she perceive the process differently this time?

M-mr. Hearst...

When it was ended and she was able to step on her foot, she simply came back to her senses.

“Mr. Hearst!" she screamed as her body drifted in the air and he carried her. "Bring me down right now!" she screams, but he never answers.

What was he thinking? He had wounds on the side and thigh, and even though the thigh wound was far from the bone, it was still painful and had not healed.

"Will you be quiet, or will I kiss you again? The choice is yours," he warned as he looked at her.

Her tongue twitched and she couldn't say anything since she knew it wasn't a joke, and she chose to remain silent even against her will.
