Chapter XXIII

Unlike the Lost boy, Amrak landed in the water, cursing at how unlucky he is as he gets out. He wiggles like a dog to help his tail dry fast and then he looks around, troubled with where he is at. Sighing, he walks into the woods.

While he tries to find his way out, a familiar voice he hears and he followed it. Like the first night he saw her, he stayed behind the bush but this time she wasn't pleading but singing with her flowers. 

The smile on his mouth slowly faded and replaced with a frown. How is she not a goblin? The moon hasn't show up yet. And he never knew she could sing.  It must not be her, he thought.

As he was about to go, he carelessly stepped on a twig, breaking it, making Selena turn his way with a frown.
