Noah’s POV

Being anywhere close to Elian the second she uttered those words was the last thing I needed. Rather, it was the last thing I could tolerate. Hearing them come out of Lillian’s mouth was like a pestering fly’s noise, but hearing them come out Eliana’s was like a punch in the gut like it was done by the hulk.

I saw the regret in her eyes immediately those words came out of her lips but the damage was already done.

I got the message loud and clear. The message was on an unending loop, my brain replaying it like a broken music player.

That’s why she left.

If I died today, those words are the murder weapon. Filled with rage, I went to a club, ready to take one lady and lodge in a separate hotel far away from where we lodged and just unleash weeks of frustration unto her.

But every woman I saw wasn’t blonde enough, or wasn’t curvy enough or was too curvy. Was too pale or not pale enough. Nothing was close to what I craved or better still, who I wanted. Puttin
