"And then she was kissing him as she had never kissed him before, and Harry was kissing her back, and it was blissful oblivion, better than firewhiskey; she was the only real thing in the world." — Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Life always had a really weird timing. I had been buying groceries when I had met Tyler at the checkout counter.
"Hey, Mey," he greeted me with a smile.
"Tyler! Hi!" I beamed.
He pointed at four cartons of milk I had in my grocery bag. "Where is the cereal to accompany those?"
I laughed. "No, these are for coffees. My family drinks lots of them."
Mom and dad drank at least three cups a day. Since we did not do groceries often, we usually had them stocked up for the week.
"Oh," Ty slightly nodded then asked plainly, "How are things with Hunter?"
I could swear I saw a hint of

Her kiss liberated me in an indescribable way. I would not say she tasted like strawberries because there was no sourness in her kiss. I seriously had no idea why people used strawberry to describe a kiss. I read an article somewhere that the balance of sweetness and acidity was very important to the taste of a strawberry and although there was something sweet about the kiss, I s

"Indifference and neglect often do much more damage than outright dislike." — Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix*H U N T E R J O N E S | The Lovestruck Bad BoyIt had been a really good day. I had gotten to spend time with Mey, helping her with homework and telling her my life story. I let out a dreamy sigh, which made me look like Ron after he accidentally drank the love potion. Except that I didn't need a love potion to be crazy about Mey.And the kiss. How could I not talk about the kiss? I suddenly felt like a sixteen years old boy, who hasn't been with a bunch of girls. One who was super nervous about his first kiss.

I always had chocolate milk on Christmas since I was four years old and my mom brought it to me on Christmas morning. I knew it was silly of me to drink it now since I had no one to celebrate it with anymore, but I just felt that something was missing if I didn't have one.I let out a deep sigh and tried not to feel annoyed and lonely. Christmas is never a special occasion for me. Not since mom screwed up and dad followed her footsteps. This year, Steven spent the whole day doing talk shows and he'd only come home later tonight. Since I've never spent Christmas with my parents for years now, I had no idea where they were. Even Alberta, our maid, went to spend the night with her family. In short, I was home alone. On Christmas. Great.A black box piqued my interest
"It is a curious thing, Harry, but perhaps those who are best suited to power are those who have never sought it. Those who, like you, have leadership thrust upon them, and take up the mantle because they must, and find to their own surprise that they wear it well." — Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter, and the Deathly Hallows*M E Y W A N G | The Asian PotterheadTime did fly. Sometimes I thought that perhaps it had wings, just like a golden snitch. It was Christmas and as always, my mom busied herself in the kitchen. She used to make Nian Gao (年糕), a Chinese New Year Cake made of glutinous rice flour and cane sugar. It was very sticky and had a caramel taste. Nian Gao was a symbol of perfect harmony and balance. It had been traditionally made to be offered as a sticky yummy bribe for the Kitchen God Zao Jun, or 灶君, who, each Chinese New Year, reported to the Jade Emperor on whether you

"And without thinking, without planning it, without worrying about the fact that fifty people were watching, Harry kissed her." — Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows*M E Y W A N G | The Asian PotterheadIt had been Friday night when my friends and I had gone to the club. It was a good plan to keep Hunter off my mind. I had been ignoring him since Christmas. He had sent me a dozen of texts but I refused to read or reply to them. It was better this way.I let out a sigh and watched my surroundings. Almost everyone from our football team was here, excluding Blake Ryan since he was not invited.Who would invite Villain X's minion anyway?Although we had invited Cassandra and her minions.
