25: One Last Look
“Elena,” Rage uttered, his lips were parted and I figured he had so much to say. I could see it through his eyes. Though the next moment he became serious, anger filled his eyes and I didn’t understand. Is it because I left him? Is it because I refused to accept the feelings I have for him? But the way he looked at me made me feel that he’s coming from somewhere deep, which I don’t understand.
“Oh, the alpha of Raven, right?” Henry spoke casually. Rage looked at him for a moment but his eyes quickly drifted back to me. He didn’t answer, probably because he must have known that Henry was already sure of what’s the answer but he only wants confirmation.
I stopped stepping on the man who ruined my mood and went to pick up my sword.
“Let’s go,” I said to Henry before jumping off the window.
I thought it was Henry who followed me down the alley but I soon realize I was wrong. It was Rage.<
