Sixteen.

Being woken up by my ringtone the next morning was horrendously more annoying than it usually was on normal days. Because it was my day off, I was supposed to be sleeping in until the sun had already hit the middle of the sky, but it seemed some people had other plans for my agenda today.

It was still dark as I peeled my eyes open. I turned my head, the time on my clock read five fifty three, am. I groaned and picked up the phone, rolling my eyes at the flashing name on my screen, regretting the invitation I'd given him the night before.

Nevertheless, I answered the call, settling back under my covers to hide from the early morning chill."Took you long enough."

I yawned. "It's five in the morning."

"You told me to call you if I had a problem." His voice didn't sound gruff, he'd probably been up for a while.

"At five in the fucking morning?"

"Watch your mouth. And yes, I get up early." I rolled my eyes.

"That's good for you, sir, but I don't." I sighed.
