As they got out of the building, Myla grabbed his hand like old times, twirling one of his new rings. He jerked his hand away with saucer-wide eyes and furrowed his brows before clearing his throat.

“I didn’t accept because I want to date you, I accepted because you’ve been asking for over two months now and I’m tired of turning you down”, Noah said coldly, avoiding her eyes. Myla didn’t even feel anything, she was accustomed to his words. And she was immune.
