He isn't a criminal

AARON’s POV

I was accompanied by Cole into the mansion where everyone else was waiting for me.

The news had been plastered all over the television, my face and name flashing on the screen as they reported my arrest and subsequent release on bail. It was surreal to see my own face on the news in such a negative light.

Ugh. It fucking sucked to be painted black the whole damn time.

As I entered the room, all eyes turned toward me, a mix of emotions evident on their faces. My father's stern gaze met mine, disappointment and frustration as clear as day in his eyes. He wasted no time launching into a lecture about how my behavior had once again landed me in the middle of a scandal.

"Have you learned nothing, Aaron?" he scolded, his voice sounding very loud and irritated. "It's always one thing after another with you. I raised you better than this."

Mom placed a hand on my father's arm, attempting to defuse his anger. "Darling, let's not jump to conclusions. We don't know all the facts yet.
