Chapter 18 - Not My Lucky Day

After cleaning up in the bathroom, I set on the long trek to Nellie's home. Afterall, it wasn't like I could walk in there after all that had happened and all that I'd said and asked for a ride.

I'm not sure my heart would even be able to handle that. It was still processing the shock from literally telling two of the most popular musicians of this time to stay away from me.

I would never know where the bravery came but it was never going to repeat itself so it was probably best to stay as far away from them as possible.

On stepping out of the restaurant, I instantly shivered as a sudden blast of air hit me right in the face. I hadn't realized it would be this cold or I would have brought my jacket and as my shoulder and arms were bare, they were subject to the chilly air.

Deciding to fight through it, I crossed my arms and continued walking. It was a beautiful starry night so it wasn't hard for me to see my way plus there were street lights.
