Chapter 19

Amanda's POV

"Seriously? How could you still not get it?" Vince said exasperatedly, scowling at me. We were seated on my couch again. I was eyeing the math paper on the table with distaste and suspicion like it was a food I didn't like.

"Calm down. Not everyone is as smart as you." I said, half sarcastically. Math was really a pain for me. It was the greatest enemy, and with the looming math test in three days, I have to sort this out. 

"You're not focusing. I repeat again. The tangent of 90 does not exist." Vince said, his low voice rumbling. He stared at me with his chocolate brown eyes, and for a moment, I felt lost in his eyes.
