One Week Later…

“Why are you just sitting there staring at your breakfast? Eat!”

I looked up at the man who called himself my father, and once again, thought about the hell I had been going through for the last few days.

“I’m not hungry.” I sighed, leaning back in my chair.

To be honest, this mansion, this large house with its heart of stone…it was slowly suffocating the life out of me and if I stayed here any longer…I was afraid I would become just like the inhabitants of this stone house. Stone cold statues that only knew business.

My mother frowned from across the table, her makeup pristine even this early in the morning and not a single hair out of place. However, no amount of makeup could hide the look of disapproval in her dark brown eyes.
