I stared at Frida who also stared back at me.

If I am not mistaken and haven’t got the calculation wrong, it’s been over seven years since I’ve seen her. Apparently, we were best friends.

“What’s she doing here?” I looked over at Liam and asked him. It wasn’t hard to tell that her been here is his handiwork.

“She transferred schools.” He made mention and shrugged like it was nothing new.

“If she transferred schools, why then is she here?” I asked him and I watched him rub his forehead, looking fed up of my queries.

“She transferred to yours.” I choked on thin air at his admission, he possibly can’t be serious.

Seven years ago, it was all rosy and a sunshine for both Frida and I until she had to transfer to a real costly school somewhere far away so now I’m confused, she can’t be here if something hadn’t went wrong with her family. Bankrupted, perhaps?

“What for?” I sat upright on my seat.

“To follow you here and there.” He shrugged his shoulders yet again a nonchalant smil
