Chapter 41

“Great!” Charlie exclaimed as she slumped against the notice board in the hallway connecting our class with the rest of the senior classes. She groaned as she pulled herself from the noticeboard. “You will not believe this.”

It was Monday morning. We had just finished assembly and were waiting for our first class. There were a few students lolling around outside classrooms, some were looking out from the windows. Everyone was bored. Charlie and I were in the hallway to check the schedule for the week.

“What is it?” I asked. I was momentarily distracted by Shewa and Jake at the opposite end of the hallway. They both waved when they saw me looking at them and I waved back now I was turning back to Charlie to see what had caused her distress.

“Dude, exams start next week.” She pointed at the piece of paper that was pinned to the board.
