Chapter 31

"Why do you have to leave the mansion? Meriam doesn't always come home. You and I are the only ones living there," Ken said to me.

"Huh? Meriam doesn't come home anymore?" I asked, confused.

"Yes. He just goes home there; it just happens that when you leave your room, he is there," Ken said again.

"You know my situation there; you already know that they don't want me anymore. Why should I stay? Besides, I have my own business. I can handle myself, so don't worry," I explained at length to him.

"Because we are family. Why do we have to be separated?" Ken said, annoyed.

"You know my situation. Let's let it go. At least we can bond together even if they don't know. I also know that you've been avoiding me since we started high school. I just let it go because I know you won't answer me." I said and picked up the cotton from the floor because it fell.
