After Three Years

He was surprised cos Lucy looks different and she had added a bit of flesh in various places which wasn't like that when she left.

That means she was well taken care of while at his enemies camp he thought inwardly.

Lucy stood in the middle of the large hall of the palace, looking as beautiful as ever.

She stares deep into her father's eyes like she had miss someone so special and dearly to her.

Truly, she had so much missed her father, for over three years she hadn't set her eyes on him and here he was standing all hail before her.

She didn't know when her legs carried her and see saw her self running into his arms with tears in her eyes.

He as well did not overlook the joy in her eyes, he took her in with so much joy of happiness in his arms as they embraced themselves with alot of emotions running through them.

They disengage from the hug and a smile was seen plastered on each of their faces.

The king of olor still couldn't believe his daughter could make it out of his enemy's kingdom alive and even looking so beautiful.

He need to find out everything about what had happened all these past years with his daughter and the queen but let him enjoy the moment with his daughter for a while before he lets the cat out of the bag he thought silently with a wide smile on his wrinkled but still handsome face.

The maids prepared the dinning which was a large hall that can fit over three hundred people in it.

There was a large table and a bench at the center of the hall which was going to be where the king and his daughter princess Lucy would sit and dine together.

However, there were also other tables and benches all over the corners of the hall including benches placed for the people to dine as well.

Alot of palace guards were seen settled at the entrances of the palace dinning hall, standing gallantly at their various positions, their head held high with a serious expressions.

Today is going to be a dining feast with the whole members of the olor's. They were celebrating the arrival of their princess, princess lucy.

The whole people were sitted  patiently in comfort and happiness of the arrival of their princess.

Alot of Wines and different varieties of food were placed on the large dinning table of the king and princess as well as the tables of the members of the olor's.

These tables were filled with fruits of different kinds.

The king took his glass of wine while sitted at his spot and he leans up a bit lifting up his glass in the air with a smiling face.

"Cheers to the princess!!".

He yelled atop his voice with pride in his expression.

The guards were allowed to join in the merriment and the people who joined in the palace merriment each lifted up their glasses and shouted in happiness.

"Cheers to the princess".

They all chorused to response with their king.

The king drank his wine and everyone followed suit.

They all sang tapped their feet on the ground as they drank and got drunk.

They clapped and continued into the merriment all through the night.

It was already 11:45pm when the king dismissed them to retire to sleep for the night.

The people went back to their various houses and the guards went back to each of their various positions in the palace.

The king let the night run by cos he saw lucy needed some time and rest from the long journey she had came from so he let her be till morning.

Morning came as the king had anticipated.

He proudly sat on his throne in the palace and awaited the arrival of his daughter, princess Lucy.

She walked in majestically after greeting him in a curtly way the minutes she entered into the palace along with her maids which were all trailing behind her like a long chain of bees.

She sat on her spot in her sitting position beside her father the king.

He let out a small smile as he watched her took her sit gracefully then the following conversation started between father and daughter.

"My beautiful princess. I have awaited this day that I would sit again with my beloved daughter just like this beautiful morning, hope you had a wonderful night rest last night?".

"Yes father I had the most wonderful moment on the warmth of my bed".

Lucy beamed happily.

"Well well well".

He sighed.

"I'm happy you are happy to be back home as you've claimed so can I have the mirror from the queen of Awima?".

He asked looking impatient.

"What do you mean father?".

Lucy stated getting a little bit confused about the sudden question.

Atleast she just came back home which was only a day not up to three days had she being back that he's asking of the magical mirror.

"If you think you do not understand my point let me make it clear to you I guess you have forgotten hehehe".

He laughed in a mocking tone.

"I'm talking about the magical mirror. The mirror we would used in unlocking our great warlord my princess?".

He said almost like a whisper looking all serious with a stern look.

"Your majesty, father". "Cough, cough".

"I think you should take your time dear you know princess?".

He suggested as Lucy pretended she was hook with her own saliva.

Truly, she was tougue tied and her heart was racing up and down thinking of the suitable words to tell her father.

"Erm father, hehe. I couldn't get the mirror".

"Whatttt!!".

The King shouted in shock and disbelief.

"No no no no, do not tell me that what you're saying now is true? What do you mean by you didn't get the mirror after all this years?".

This time he was standing from his seat looking seriously angrily with lucy.

He began to pace left to right and right to left thinking deeply as his mind ran 360 rethinking about what Lucy just told him which still seems unbelivable to him cos he was still in doubts.
