Chapter 37 Love and War

I ran to her and pushed her, getting ready to take the hit instead. The car suddenly stopped making a screeching sound when it was a body hair long away from me.

Cora, Lucas and Sara were very surprised as to the reason the car suddenly stopped when they were thinking it would have crushed me.

"What just happened?" I asked.
